My Story

M Prefontaine is a passionate enthusiast for puzzles and brain training and sees them as an ideal way to enhance the development of children’s brains. Brain teasers, puzzles, riddles and word games do not only enhance rational thinking, but also build up confidence and increase resilience as well as provide an ideal opportunity for family engagement.

M Prefontaine is the creator of the Smart Kids series of books, including the best-selling volume Difficult Riddles for Smart Kids, and many other children’s books.
His books have been translated into multiple languages and have sold over a million copies worldwide. The books are designed to encourage children to read and expand creative problem solving while having fun and engaging with family and friends.

In his spare time he enjoys playing, coaching and watching sports, walking his rescue German Shepard dog Autumn, exploring new places, and learning about different cultures.
